These very rare wooden tankards are great find! Made of staved pine with chestnut finger bands, they date back to the 18th Century and are well-preserved. Great, worn patinas with rich coloring and nice graining. Wonderful one-piece handles were carved by hand on the back of a stave. Most of these have fitted covers too. No collection of primitive woodenware is complete without one of these Revolutionary War tankards! Museum quality. Only a few available. 8" to 12" H.
