Charming, little, antique birdcages in very good condition. In storage for decades, their frames are made of wood and there are thin metal rods on all six sides. The patina is old and original with nice coloring and graining. At the bottom, each has a pull-out galvanized metal tray, similar to a drawer, complete with wooden face so it blends in well with the frame of the cage. Under this tray is a panel that removes easily for quick release of the birds. There's a swing-open door on one end of each cage and the other end has places where those old style ceramic feeders attach to the rods. Each cage comes with two wooden dowels for use as perches. They measure 12 1/2 inches long, 7 5/8 inches wide, and 8 1/2 inches high. They're rugged, well-built and great-looking. Old fashioned and full of character, these old bird cages would display nicely with country antiques and primitive items.
